If the color in the design becomes dim after long use, clean it in boiled lotus stems or leaves. It will be as clean and new as before. If the tinware is somehow oxidized or rusted, cut a fresh tomato into halves and clean the rusty spot with the section of the tomato. Leave it for several minutes, clean it in clean water and then the rusty spot will disappear.
